Cardinals Sign Koyie Hill


The Cardinals has signed Koyie Hill to a minor league deal today. A light hitting back up catcher that has spent five years with the Cubs. Koyie had posted a .194/.268/.276 line in 153 plate appearances for the Cubs in 2011, he had  a rate of  24% of stolen base attempts. Koyie a eight-year veteran had a career batting line of .211/.275/.298 and has stopped 28% of the stolen base attempts against him. Koyie will be competing with Tony Cruz and Bryan Anderson for the role of back up catcher for Yadi Molina for the 2012 roster. Good luck Koyie!
